Youth Guidance is committed to the equitable access of all students to opportunities for enrichment and extended learning. If you are interested in applying for financial aid for your student, we utilize the Child Care Action (CCA) program, a state subsidy. There is no distinction between those students who are subsidized by CCA and those who aren’t. In order to apply you must first submit proof of income (this could be the previous year’s tax forms or most recent paystubs) to the Resource Coordinator. If you qualify for free or reduced lunch, and have submitted the proper paperwork to the Resource Coordinator, you will be asked to submit an Action for Children application (supplied by Youth Guidance). Once you are approved for Child Care Action your monthly payments will only be a fraction of the cost of full tuition—based on your income eligibility. If you do not get approved with Child Care Action, we will work with you to make sure that your child can still be involved in the After School Programs and your families’ financial situation is supported. You will still be responsible for paying the registration fee and submitting the regular registration paperwork to be eligible for the After School Programs. Youth Guidance is not responsible for failure to complete required documentation. Please be aware that without proper verification, a student may not be able to participate in the After School Programs.
